This was honestly the worst musical ive ever seen. The opening 30 seconds were kind of amazing (presenting characters, a solid plot, indight into Rita as a woman defending men who kill woman, all whilst knowing its wrong), this then all goes out the window the minute the first song happens.
I actually really liked the plot, but I hate every song in it and many aspects feel clumsy and badly done.
I think this film would have been much better if a) it took itself less seriously and b) if the music were better…
