  I will get my only criticism out of the way: for a film that is about the sparks that lead to the birth of a nation, I wish they could have shown us more of the actual nation itself; it's people and places. I wish that instead of dialogue heavy exposition, they showed instead of told us about the beautiful dioceses of Antipolo, etc. that the main characters were fighting so hard to protect.
