Not the greatest thing ever, but interesting to see how a Netflix Original Italian mini-series would adapt Lampedusa (and Visconti).
Off the bat, the cinematography and coloring is quite dull. A lot of it feels very flat, overly clean, and standard. The yellow is also not very appealing, and ruins a lot of the great effort they put into sets and costumes. The editing is also quite abysmal, and never ever lets a shot sit. Like the most a shot…

Whoever did the casting for this movie should never cast another film. Cillian Murphy is perfect, and RDJ fits. But everyone else just does not make sense. (Josh Peck really??)
Good screenplay, and great acting from Cillian Murphy. Love how the bomb test sequence was done. Does a great job at really diving into Oppenheimer.
Ludwig Gorannson creates a mock Hans Zimmer soundtrack, which fits, but doesn’t feel original. Emily Blunt is awful in this. She does a poor job…
