  The first time I watched Manchester by the Sea, I didn’t like it. I think maybe I was just too young to get it or maybe my attention span was too short. I still think it’s a little too long and drags at some parts, but it is really a beautiful film. As i’ve gotten older I’ve learned more about loss and complicated relationships and this film encapsulates those themes in a tragically perfect way. Lee’s dream about his daughter…
