refuse a rating but something about a very tight movie that mirrors the beats of a short story always does it for me -- especially when the actors (for the most part) seem totally immersed and human but also operating within the very small logic of the narrative, where the director catches the atmosphere of a very specific world, and ofc shot on film means doing the impossible: making the world college sports look artistic and inviting

Really beautiful and meditative;
slice of life about love and community and building a tenuous but meaningful life, even when everything feels precarious. was pretty slow; watched with german subtitles so that kept me more engaged than maybe I would have otherwise been.
