Between Harry Dean Stanton singing just a closer walk with thee and then Newman doing the live take Plastic Jesus this is one of the most underrated music movies of all time.
For some reason we just stopped making cool dudes. No one famous now is as cool as Paul Newman was. Or like even close. Like Glenn Powell is great but we're not getting Glenn Powell Thousand Island you know? You gotta be god tier cool to do salad dressings. We're just not making salad dressing level guys anymore. Makes me sad man
