What an accomplished film. Was totally enamoured with it for the first hour or so. I did feel it dipped a bit in the middle and maybe could have been a bit shorter but it’s really stayed with me.
Incredible performances, looked gorgeous throughout and wonderful soundtrack and score.
Kind of a random Tuesday night viewing but what the hell this was so good! Very well made, lots of beautiful shots and great use of its setting. Surprising (to me) amount of character depth lurking in there
A beautiful, surprising film. It hooked me in with grumpy sexy sunburnt Josh O’Connor and boy did it keep me.
There were a couple of moments in the final part which I found transcendently moving.
I never knew where I was going with this film and I loved that. Can’t wait to keep turning it over in my head
Banger of a film! Took a while to grab me (probs my fault for watching on my laptop in bed) but a captivating central performance. I loved how it shifted the parameters of the question at its heart. I stopped focusing on how exactly the fall happened and cared much more about the nature of truth, how much can we ever understand what happens between two people etc etc
