  after reading many critiques of this, i still genuinely really loved it. i don’t totally understand the emerald fennell hate in gereral… her directing style just really works for me. this was so sick and fucking twisted in the best way possible. it’s like if some of my favorite movies joined forces: call me by your name, dead poets society, parasite, and promising young woman. the aesthetics & cinematography were just phenomenal as well. i love grotesque media!
