  Moana, my beloved, heartfelt, beautifully written, empowering film you didn’t deserve this sequel.
   
  It felt like a cheap emotionless cash grab from start to finish. No heart, no character depth, you don’t even get to see or understand the “villain” until the post credit scene kinda? That bat lady just like never returns until post credit aswell? So clearly some horrible setup to keep making trash films.

  Spirited Away 2001

  I watched this at an outside screening in botanical gardens under the stars and moon and I think that is how this should always be watched. However, it was the dub version and that hurt me so physically as I never watch anything dub as it takes away so much from the content. 
  That’s not the films fault of course, but the insane person who chose to put the dub version on I’m
  coming for you.

  Controversial opinion but this is the best one in the series. It starting with a gloom filled sorrow rendition of yo ho with a child getting hung, Fucking calypso and her fine self, to this day still the best cgi ever seen on Davy jones and his crew, Elizabeth and Will being king and queen of miscommunication with the slayest wedding, love being the overall theme and people’s hearts literally belonging to another, the return of the dog, the battle in the middle of a maelstrom, and what’s his name slow motion walking through the ship being blown apart to his demise. Dare I say masterpiece.
