By no means perfect, but this was really “for the fans” of which I am a massive one. The first Bridget Jones film is so special to me (despite its flaws!) and the easter eggs/references to that were joyful.
Fun to explore Bridget in a very different world whilst still being so very her and keeping/ bringing back all the old favourites.

Beautifully quiet-feeling film. Very bleak and moving but great comedy moments woven in. Loved the snapshots of different characters lives, especially the scenes with the hair salon clients!
