  Really conflicted with the rating this time. On the other hand the cinematography was beautiful at times and the silence combined with slow pacing worked to its advantage. Other times the grim pathos almost made me laugh. The film seemed to cross the line into pretentiousness every once in a while and not realizing its full potential.

  And as a sidenote, I didn't see the trailer before seeing the film itself. After checking it out too boy, do I now understand why so many came out the theatre disappointed.

  A Good Day to Die Hard 2013

  Drifting away movie by movie from what made the original such a good film. Instead of the "just a regular guy" routine McClane is now an aging superhero that can't get killed no matter how ridiculous the stunt. The story is all over the place with odd pacing to boot. Willis joins the 80's action hero party pretty late.

  Latest G.I.Joe was almost a better McClane movie than this waste of space.
