  beautiful film. i think that the opacity of the white trash aesthetic with lots of confederate imagery, as well as the many microagressions which star faces serve as interesting racial commentary which is disguised under the natural beauty which underlies scenes of midwestern summers and youthful freedom. this freedom, for star especially though, is limited despite its seeming infinitude among the other characters who delude themselves into believing that this is eternity and the only other option is death. only…

  rlly beautiful but that’s about it. chances for some rlly interesting class/race/gender commentary that are completely ignored and ur left just like… um idk what i was supposed to get from that. weird vibes bc it’s kinda comedy kinda thriller kinda drama but it’s all just too muddy that it’s just weird vibes. again, not entirely sure what the point was coming away from it. i was just like um okay? and now i will never think ab it again. giving it two star just bc it was pretty cinematography!!!!!
