A Real Pain 2024
I'm glad Jessie Eisenberg got to make his own feature film but I just wish that it had some substance to it. Something, anything at all. Besides maybe a light commentary on the Jewish diaspora there really isn't any message or point to this. There are some really beautiful views of some Polish cities like Lublin featured but that's about it. And Kieran Culkin's character is absolutely insufferable, but I believe that's the entire point, still it wasn't very nice to watch. I do think that Jessie thought he was awfully clever by making the entire soundtrack by Chopin.
