  are you there god, are you listening
  i only feel you when i’m alone and sometimes i don’t feel you at all

  i cried throughout this whole movie. it poignantly portrays some of what i have been feeling at 29 years old but from an 11 year old. it was genuine and sweet and silly and simple and authentic. if you’ve ever gotten a period for the first time, had to ask your mom to get a bra, or questioned if God is real, you should go watch it!
