I was reading House of Leaves at a bar which led to a conversation about psychological horror with a drunk man. He said, "Oh yeah I love horror movies there's this one that fucked me up so bad I couldn't sleep! Why can't I think of the name? It had Ethan Hawke in it." I replied, "Insidious?" Sure enough, it was Insidious.
I hadn't seen Insidious. And Ethan Hawke is not in this movie.
