  I will dedicate the rest of my time on this heavenly earth to talking shit about Emilia Perez. No idea how this movie ever got made and why anyone agreed to star in it.

  Errrrr not great. Pretty much a Temu version of 12 Angry Men. Not worth the two hours. 

  Pros— Kind of fun while watching to be like “oh that’s kinda what I learned in Crim Pro” and “that’s not allowed under the Federal Rules of Evidence.” Also Nicholas Hoult has beautiful eyes. 

  Cons— Heavy handed and monotonous. Weird details are ominously highlighted but end up meaning absolutely nothing.

  It would be silly to give a thoughtful review to this kind of movie, but I would find Anchorman funnier if I didn’t know men whose humor was frozen in this 2004 “haha boobs” era.
