  please this film is so confusing, i have watched it 3 times and that’s why i love it so much. every time i watched it, i saw it with a different perspective and i love that because i believe that’s what bergman wanted us to see.it portrays really well how patriarchy forces women to constantly struggle and the main character not speaking at all is fucking amazing and it’s really rebellious. one of the best films ever + the cinematography is mesmerizing.
