    Witches work only with magic!”

A film that is branded to my brain. The tale of Erica still haunts me to this day. The transformation of the Grand High Witch and Bruno continue to horrify. And the loving relationship of Luke and his Grandma inspire me. I was born a Nic Roeg fan whether I liked it or not.

Love and miss you Grandma Fran.

This movie is half horrible (the awful CGI, the heroification of actual murderer Matthew Broderick and the worst brunette wig ever put on Kidman) and half amazing (the satirical opening about reality TV, high camp serves from Glenn Close AND Bette Midler and the best blonde wig ever put on Kidman).

Long story short, a new favorite is born.

Love Christopher Lee as always but I will admit, I do love him best when he’s fighting alongside Pagan gods and not against them, ala The Wicker Man.

Will you still love me when I no longer have a Margaret Qualley ass?

An instant classic in the canon of body horror. Truly the sickest, freakiest, most depraved shit I’ve seen on film in a LONG time. You may think you know where this is going when it starts but you have no fucking clue. Makes all the recent output of horror films from the past decade look like straight BABY stuff! A film like this completely counters the…
