  so beautiful, i loved how everything looked. even the bright red blood felt fitting here with all the paintings, when it’s something i find comical usually. it’s quiet but still heavy, and the contrast between violent and peaceful really got me… loss is everywhere but so is love, and what you’re willing to do for it. what he does is something no one should ever have to do

  i didn’t care for this, or maybe i’m just too sick right now. it was still interesting on a psychological level, the concept of how the place affected everyone and why they all ended up there in the first place. but for the main character, her motivation meant nothing to me considering it was out of guilt from the affair, and the movie felt so unsatisfying in general. i did like the surreal and visually artistic part towards the end though as that’s something i always appreciate
