first half really good but it seems thematically "...something happened unexpected and your improvising.." on one hand Psycho killer having to improvise his murder game is cool but on the other it feels like a cheap cop out to not have to flesh out all the theology rhetoric and pivot towards random but proven genre tropes. tying it all together with the thinnest visual motifs. Just not a very satisfying second half Act 2/ Act 3

on rewatch the effect of a poor work life balance on the networks workers was a bigger highlight than before. Now it seems like the whole point but before I was so focused on the more socio economic commentary.

Not as focused per se as Parasite. There's a love story, political dialogue, questions of identity and bio ethics, more overtly discussed here than any other minor motifs in Parasite.
