  I did not know what to think of this film at first, but I did notice that Mexico was so poorly portrayed. Some of the acting was captivating but the songs were abysmal and NONE OF THE MAIN ACTORS AND KEY CREW WERE MEXICAN… speaks volumes… just saying

  I was solidly emotional for almost that entire film. 

  I really don’t care if it’s meant for kids, I’ve never watched any media that explains the biracial and mixed race experience so well and I wish to 1000% I had had this growing up.
