Female fantasy at its finest, and a movie to not be taken seriously but definitely reveals many truth about the nature of relationships and the role men is there to play. Hard to believe such giant icon lead characters all appear in the same movie. Visuals and cinematography is truly stunning and even tho plot can get mundane from time to time the set decoration and environment design always stays vibrant. I couldn't help but notice how Jack Nicholson's character brings to mind Jim Carrey in Mask. Certainly on the same level in goofiness.

I don't have enough words to describe the virtuosity and artistry that was applied to create this flawless work of art. I can't recall any other film from the 70s that is worth watching over and over. The shining masterpiece of new wave of Hollywood at its best and without any doubt Nicholson's best performance. A poignant tragic story on a historic loop, applicable in any format in any nation, the dichotomy of slave master is shown poetically in One flew over the Cuckoo's nest.

Was SO excited that got a free admission to watch, got heavily disappointed halfway through the screetime that I wanted to get up and walk away! I felt like this film is mocking me for what it is! But seems like many stupid Americans who shouted every time when a corny scene came up were utterly satisfied. Which made me think, Maybe I am the problem! Perhaps I am not the new generation anymore and can’t resonate with new media…

"The Best Western Ever Made" even better than Red Dead Redemption II and Once upon a time in the west!
May Larry Mcmurty rest in peace for having written such an overwhelming epic that reaches to the most deeply rooted and far me long ignored sensations and brings them out by tickling the left-over emotions through its profound dramatic scenes and stalwart behavior of characters.

Lonesome Dove is much larger than what usually a simple story is capable of offering…
