The cinematography, the colours and the fashion was so beautiful. Loneliness, connection, loss, yearning and love - visual poetry and dreamlike quality. When quizas, quizas, quizas by Nat King Cole plays that scene was just perfection. It was very well done in that the film speaks in silences to express the pain and emotion of both characters.

I love Bong Joon Ho and his creative dark humour. It was a unique and immersive cinematic experience.
I enjoyed the themes of cloning, identity and societal exploitation. I think it’s relevant to the current political and social problems, despite some narrative issues and an uneven tone. Robert Pattinson’s performance is a highlight and his portrayal of Mickey is entertaining. Toni Collette and Mark Ruffalo will always have my heart.

I loved Florence Pugh in this but I expected more from this film. I didn’t really see the point of it, and I didn’t feel any emotional attachment to it. I liked the movement through time and the non linear storyline, however it didn’t hook me.

I found it intriguing how this 90s film highlights our dependence on technology, a reliance that has only intensified since then. While the film may be somewhat unrealistic and exaggerated, it’s striking to consider the extent of power hackers can hold, especially given how much of our personal information is now online. I watched this for my girl Sandra Bullock and she didn’t disappoint. She is flawless.
