  That is the most realistic depiction of the trans experience I have ever seen 

  I feel like I have lived this movie 

   so many movies about trans people go to one extreme or the other but this one balances incredibly in the grey area which I feel like is where most trans peoples experiences with their family are.

  The script was so real and the shots were incredible 

  The scene with him and Meg in their old bedroom was amazing and the way Sam’s story is told while also giving time for how his family felt was so real .
