    Throwing Paul Mescal in there to act as a side character with no depth should be illegal.

    I feel confused and like this could have been very powerful, but wasn't. I don't see the younger Leda in the older Leda or vice versa. I really wanted to like it because I like the basis - a young women who can't handle motherhood and leaves- but felt like it wasn't thoroughly flushed out.

    Half of me was watching this movie and half of me was thinking about how Peyton said that the great thing about movies is that you get to share them with people. I smiled at a girl sitting alone at the end of the aisle as we sat down. And she laughed when Miles laughed. She was crying when I was crying and looked at Peyton who was maybe also crying. I liked this movie a lot. It was funny and real and reminded me of what hellish lives we lead at twelve but also how some parts of that hellish life never really leave.
