Robert Pattinson the star that you are!! This had a little bit too much going on for me but with Pattinson’s commitment and all star performance you stay locked in. Full cast was firing at all cylinders. All the stuff with creepers got to be a little much but loved the world that Bong created and always appreciate his commentary. Felt like Okja meets Arrival meets Ad Astra. Here’s hoping Cedric Diggory was 3D printed as well!!!

really strong cast and compelling story that suits 2003 as well as it suits 2025 sadly. Twists and turns and just a very solid courtroom drama. RIP Gene Hackman !!!!!

absolutely blown away by this. felt so connected to the family and their search for answers. Fernanda Torres’s performance is formidable, powerful, rich, layered, complex. Captivated the whole time and it broke my heart wide open by the end. When they showed the real photos of the Paiva family -- jeez I rarely cry in movies but this really had me welling up. When the credit rolled I was just so glued to my seat and had to take a beat to regroup.

Tremendously poetic and beautiful at times. Aunjanue was incredibly captivating and provided a great anchor throughout. I feel this could land differently to those who haven’t read the novel. I came in with some of the basic plot points which helped fill in gaps. I wish I felt more emotionally connected to Elwood and the boys at Nickel and the horrors they were experiencing. The POV didn’t bother me once I got into it and the documentary style worked but…
