I watched the first series when it came out in 2021 and enjoyed. Always love a bit of Jimmy McGovern. Bleak, brutal, truthful. This review is also for the second series set in a women’s prison. One of my biggest phobias. Being locked up. The acting of Bella Ramsey was brilliant. Taught me a bit of non judging 🤔❤️. There by the grace of god ….

Ooooo I do love a bit of Hugh when he’s not playing a mumbling Sloane. This started off great. Right up my cerebral street, loved the homage to “The Yellow Wallpaper”. But it quickly unravelled into silliness rivalling that of a Fairground haunted house vibe/escape room which made me laugh when I don’t think I was supposed to. Not for the squeamish, some toe curling scenes. A fun but not important movie which it perhaps could have potentially been.
