This one was so cool. Had the pleasure of watching this gem at the metro, in its original 35 mm, with the bro, having a ginger ale(?).
There are so many layers to this one that I don’t think I’ll ever fully understand the intended message, similar to how I felt about Denis Villeneuve’s Enemy, a film that also established it’s own take on the horror genre, and did it exceptionally well.

Such a cool movie. Thanks to Caleb for this one. It was awesome talking to someone about this movie, because it’s definitely radiating in its own uniqueness. Can’t remember the last time I’ve seen something filmed in 35 mm, and makes it even better seeing it in a theatre in Barcelona where I have no idea where I’m going or what people are saying. There was a quote in this film that’s along the lines of “if you can’t share your secrets with your friends, then what’s the point of living?” What an awesome line haha.

Had a good time with this one. The intro hooked me immediately, and I was really excited to see how this film was going to play out. I wasn’t blown away by the storyline, as I found it rather simplistic and felt that there was something missing. I was in love with the camera work, acting, and overall cinematography which I thought captured the mood of the film quite well.

Thought of prisoners a little bit while watching this film which really brought me back 🥲
