  I think J.B. in this movie draws an interesting parallel to nick caraway from the Great Gatsby (which I just read for my English class). While they’re both observers, JB takes action against the problem leading to a happy ending for him and him resolving the issue while nick continued to only watch from the side which lead to nothing but sadness and anger by the end of the book for him.

  Moral of the story: Take action.
