  Captain Fantastic is an utter failure of a narrative. Predictable at every turn with a script continues to make you say "ugh, God, please don't go there."

  For a movie that moves so fast, The Danish Girl is awfully boring. Scratch the last eight letters of that sentence, The Danish Girl is awful.

  I'm sure you can imagine how difficult it must have been to be the first person to go through a sex change operation; if that is the case for you, keep imagining and skip The Danish Girl. Tom Hooper's latest travesty shows absolutely none of Einar Wegener's inner struggle and Eddie Redmayne's mannered, one-note performance doesn't help. It's laughable that he is up for Oscar consideration.
