Really just embarrassingly inept at times—continuity errors, POV shots that don’t align with a character’s sight line, etc. The two leads are painfully uncharismatic, mistaking dull for subdued. Although I’m not sure anyone could have breathed life into this dialogue. The most acting Monroe does is concentrated entirely in her forehead. I’m just glad she didn’t pull a muscle. Some unintentional camp value and a vague curiosity about how the plot would shake out kept me mildly engaged.
