  Under the Skin is a slow-burn sci-fi that will have you squirming throughout in ways that you wouldn’t expect. The body horror is subtle but super unsettling—there are moments that make you squirm without showing a ton of gore.   Aftersun pieces together Calums life through the eyes of his daughter. Some scenes were from her camcorder that she plugged in the movie, some were real life, and some felt like they were dreams or attempts at imagining what her father was like when he was by himself, all spliced together beautifully.

  Heart wrenching film that portrays grief and loss in such a relatable way. I was in tears by the end but it still had a beautiful and a surprisingly optimistic ending. I also really enjoyed the sound track, and felt that it complemented the movie phenomenally.
