    I found this so beautiful. Even though its thematic contents could have been more precise, it’s still very compelling to me. The art style of the film is quite profound, the art textures, the emphasis on water. There’s something spiritual about Raya and the Last Dragon, even though it’s not a masterfully executed film.     Final scene is glorious, so bright and tragic at the same time. This has to be the most perfectly executed sport drama. The screenplay is brilliant, the narrative is so focused. It’s easy to get carried away with spectacle and over dramatic arcs with these kind of films, this avoided all the tropes and was incredibly down to earth and universally touching.
