Surprised that Natalie seems to be one of the things critics liked about this film, I’m not English but I thought the accent wasn’t too convincing and just how she played Anne overall, I found odd - seemed to resemble soap opera acting of a scorned woman in moments.

I think I liked Scarlett’s accent work but her character was so flat and one note throughout.

Didn’t like the direction. Story was messy. And I’m not even too bothered by…

Unfortunately, kinda disappointing after hearing such good word of mouth and having absolutely loved both Sicario and Wind River. I was guilty of going on my phone though, so copping to some of the blame of not liking this as much as I possibly could have.

Acting was very strong, particularly Jeff Bridges - don’t know the best supporting line up for this yr but should’ve included Mr. Bridges.

Incredibly important and genuinely emotional that it won the Oscar, in this current time and with the incredible volume of gaslighting by so many politicians in the west enabling such brutality and oppression.

Truthfully, I don’t think the documentary will be all that shocking to anyone who has an awareness of the horrendous atrocities committed in recent years and about Palestine and its history.

Still a vital account from a joint team of an Israeli and Palestinian that will hopefully be shocking for people in the near future to look back on. Free Palestine 🇵🇸🍉

Really refreshing to watch an original, well made, fun and smart movie get made and widely released. I guess in the low budget sci fi/horror genre it’s still possible? Seems it didn’t get a proper amount of time to play in theatres though. A better movie than similar M3GAN but doesn’t seem to have gotten a marketing spend that could’ve brought in a box office result similar as well. A shame.

    Sophie Thatcher really was spectacular.
