When Harry Met Sally... 1989
Probably the best rom-com I’ve seen in ages, can’t believe I waited this long. Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan are dynamite together, with Carrie Fisher being scene stealer as expected. Will be interested to see other Nora Ephron-penned films after this one.

I love Andrew Haigh’s filmmaking style and his stories speak to my own life’s experiences in a big way so I had high hopes for this one. Most of those expectations were met but I can’t quite understand the ending of this film. It felt like we were going towards a cathartic and romantic conclusion but instead we received the most depressing ending to a story I have seen in quite some time.

Dune: Part Two 2024
I want to give this five stars but Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya are ineffective leads who lack chemistry and given how much screen time they take up, it does affect the experience. However, almost every other aspect of the film is excellent and worthy of very high praise. This is how blockbusters should be made, and I genuinely hope we see more from this world and Denis Villeneuve’s interpretation of it.
