Rita, Sue and Bob Too 1987
Everything about this film was fantastic until they gave it that poly ending 🙃🙃🙃
There’s a lot to love about this film; the way it’s shot, the friendship between the two girls, the lighthearted tone in contrast to it’s more grim subject matters, but it didn’t get the ending it deserved, based on the original Andrea Dunbar plays ending.
Still v enjoyable

basically a portrait of a grown woman who hasn’t learnt shame or been conditioned to hide her true self. bella is an incredible protagonist, due to the nature of her having a new brain, she sees the world and people for what they truly are, which creates a touching narrative about women, our lives and sexuality.
