Apocalypse Now 1979
I loved the build up, great view on what really went on in the Vietnam War but fuck me the ending could have been done and dusted in half the length of time. Still a very good film worth the watch!

Just a fantastic storyline one plot twist to the next keeping you on your toes throughout its nearly 3 hour long edgingful film.

Manchester by the Sea 2016
Wow, no wonder it got the Oscar. Casey Affleck is a superior actor, the emotion and no emotion he shows you can feel throughout the film. Every bit of pain in the film is felt. I really enjoyed this film definitely one of my favourites. The slowness of the film almost describes his life as a whole and the character building of both Lee and Patrick is enjoyable to watch. Every flashback was perfectly placed. I’m finding it hard to describe my true emotion for this film but wow fantastic!
