  The Killing of a Sacred Deer 2017

  It was my first Lanthimos film to watch. I wasn't really aware of any information about the style or substance of his cinema. The film itself was an interesting watch for me. It atracted me from the beginning on. But the ending confused me a little bit.

  The style and camerawork was great. But the overall theme of the movie itself is confusing. I'd like to praise the acting too.

  In summary I enjoyed to watch the film to the end. I had great expectations for the third act to be fulfilled. But it was a great disappointment. Therefore my rating turns out as average.

  The Last Warrior 2018

  I enjoyed the action scenes and costumes/scenery of this overall average and in some points absurd history/fantasy action flick. The story loses heavily the central theme and the characters are caricatural. But the action is pretty decent. You wouldn't expect historical accuracy from this sort of cinema. In a nutshell it was an enjoyable and fun action movie.
