Interesting to see the focus on the murderer’s family throughout the entire prosecution process and whatnot, rather than the victim’s. Also made me think about how much cell phones and social media have negatively impacted children’s peer interactions, and their way of viewing the opposite sex. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for a parent to try to find the balance between overprotecting their kids and giving them space. Heartbreaking to see how Jamie’s parents felt that desperation of “what could we have done better?”.
