  Family movie night. I enjoyed this, and it was kind of bonkers (I said “What?!” out loud a few times), which made it more charming. I’d rather watch a second-tier Ghibli film than a second-tier Disney princess film any day. And this one’s full of cats (including Cary Elwes as a cat)! Miss 4 and Mr 3 loved it and immediately asked to watch it again.

  Edit: changed my rating to 1 star because I woke up the next day, still angry about this film.

  I wanted to love this because I have such fondness for the actors and films discussed, but Brats frustrated me more than anything and was too long.
  This is a film about actors’ experiences of being labelled “the Brat Pack” (mainly Andrew McCarthy’s) - not a film about the Brat Pack. McCarthy should have dealt with this in therapy or…
