  expected this to be just a bunch of old metal guys reminiscing, which i was totally on board with. there’s plenty of that, but there’s also FINALLY a solid documentary about the life of RJD. it’s got all the right shit: embarrassing teen bands, car crashes, heartbreak, triumph, laser dragon battles, a wild story about creating the Holy Diver album cover. and the raw vocal tracks are spine-tingling. i hope this movie  causes casual fans (if those exist) to do…
