I was gonna give this movie a generous 3 stars until I remembered the mom's breaking the law plot just didn't go anywhere? got dropped entirely??? literally what was the point of that.

We've had a lot of "vampires as queer people" movies these past years (starting I'd say after the Interview with the Vampire movie (which notably DOES NOT fall into this category) and culminating perfectly in the Interview With the Vampire show).
