think i enjoyed this this film so much because it resonated with me so much at the time in my life that i saw it i can see how someone who can’t appreciate the themes in this film and perhaps see a reflection of themselves in it could find it boring as a lot of people say that nothing happens in this film. but it’s a coming of age story not some big explosive plot. although i’m not a huge fan of the director and her seeming resistance to add people of colour to the casts of their films i did appreciate this film
