  I think this is the the most upsetting film I’ve ever seen, but extremely important and deserves to be seen by everyone. This is the first short to make me cry, and you will feel afraid and heartbroken for this boy within the first 2 minutes. The 26 minutes that follow are even more dreadful and feel so much longer than they really are. While this is a very difficult watch, I feel that it truthfully depicts many facets of gay trauma that many others have unfortunately experienced, and that I constantly feared after I realized and accepted that I was gay myself.

  I just streamed this last month in SD and had no idea it was getting a 4K release for it’s 25th anniversary, so I was shocked when I stumbled upon the steel book at Best Buy today (easiest $20 I’ve ever spent). This film got the HUGE visual upgrade it deserved, and I’m so happy it did. I don’t know what can be said about the movie that hasn’t already - the cinematography is phenomenal & it’s a travesty that Hype…
