  Blade Runner 1982

  The most detailed world building I'd ever seen in my life. A window into an alternative future. Is it about some guy hunting down androids? Is it about who's really human? Is it about oppression changing form? Is this about machines and consent? The more times I've watched it, I've re-interpreted more of the world and its characters. This is something you can think about over and over again. There is more depth to it than a lot of people give it credit for.

  I don't know when I've first seen Alien. But it is very dear to me personally. It is the most grounded movie of all the Alien films. It is the most relatable. You feel the tension, and when looking at the set pieces you think of them as real places. That is what makes it so effective. I've seen it many, many times in my life and my appreciation has only grown. I don't know why I would not give anything other than the highest rating.
