  “It’s hard, isn’t it? Being a person?”

  As someone who has really been struggling being alone and semi-depressed in college for almost 2 years now, watching this really hit home for me in a very subtle way. Life starts feeling mundane and that leaves a lot of room for disconnection and daydreaming about the end of it all. I found comfort in the “slow”, by many’s standards, pacing and the moments of Fran’s new experiences. A little reminder that both good and bad experiences are still valuable and worth something.

  My takeaways:

  - prodigy child plays “video games” with predators and gains the most interesting lore 

  - there was no need to depict autism in the cliche ways they did, especially for the time

  - don’t dress as a predator for Halloween unless you plan to blow up someone’s house

  - scientists think a human fucked an out of space creature

  - girl calls the predators “her space animal”

  - group 2 would either be a great or nightmare blunt rotation. No in between.

  - they’re called predators simply because it’s sick as fuck but really it shouldn’t be called the predator

  This took me weeks to finally finish despite it actually being one of the more enjoyable watches in this series for me because of school.

  In my eyes Adrian Brody didn’t win an Oscar for the Brutalist. He won it for saving me from dropping watching this franchise. Him and the rest of this ICONIC cast

  Not bad I guess but then I started to realize that this movie is one of the shorter ones in the franchise and I was starting to doze off at the end… that shouldn’t be happening in my opinion.
