I expected to be more on board with this than I was. Adorable animals communicating in animal sounds couldn’t save this from being an absolute slog of 80 minutes. What should’ve been an immersive experience modeled after its simple premise had me begging for it to be over. The coloring and shading looks off and the film misses any sense of feeling meditative within its environment.
