“Purple Joe” is incredible work
Took a second to find its footing but ultimately, a really fun night at the movies for both of us. Ruffalo is going for it but at the very least you know how much he hates the Kenneth Marshall’s of the world. Saw today that it needs make like $300M to be profitable and I think most people won’t be into this, which is sad. Bong shouldn’t have to care about money but I am not at all looking forward to the takes on this one. Let’s just have fun!!

Had a great time with this! Kinda wish they hadn’t pulled a Maverick and showed us grey-shaded footage from the first one but other than that, I thought it was different enough in a way that kept me guessing and engaged. Yeah some CGI moments looked like a video game but Ridley is still one for the best we have at staging these huge sequences and I salute him for it
