Reed and Krasker encapsulate post-war Vienna in what is regarded as one of the greatest British films of all time. From war torn buildings, shady sewers, Ferris wheels, and a ton of wet cobblestone it’s one of the most visually appealing films I’ve ever seen.
Coupled with an iconic soundtrack from Anton Karas and brilliant performances from Cotten, Valli, and Welles, Graham Greene outdoes himself…
