Hundreds of Beavers 2022
The fascinating journey of a desperate man attempting to overcome the conventions of his own genre. Stylistically, this film pays homage to older silent films but adds tasteful effects to expand upon them. The story excellently inverts our traditional concept of colonialism and has you rooting for the invader to this land. But the greatest part of all is the beavers. This film humanizes the beavers excellently and at points you feel for them as if they are people. I loved this movie 10/10
